Job summary

QXO in Aurora, CO is seeking an Inventory Control – Purchasing Agent to maintain inventory accuracy and support purchasing across warehouse, yard, manufacturing and distribution operations. You will manage purchase orders, supplier coordination, receiving activities and inventory reporting to ensure materials are available for customer demand and efficiency.

The role involves working with Purchasing, Warehouse, Sales, Production, Quality and Operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory counts through cycle counts and physical inventory processes.
• Create, process, and manage purchase orders to support operations and customer requirements.
• Coordinate purchasing activities with warehouse, production, sales, and operations teams.
• Source products and materials to meet customer and business needs.
• Maintain purchasing and inventory transactions within ERP systems and generate reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and continuous improvement.
