Job summary

QXO, a leading North American insulation and building materials distributor, located in La Porte, TX, seeks an Inventory Control Coordinator to support warehouse operations. The role involves order picking, RF scanning, forklift handling, loading/unloading, and maintaining safe, organized storage practices in a fast paced environment.

Applicants must be 18+, have warehouse/manufacturing exposure, and be willing to obtain forklift certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• If operating a Company Vehicle, a valid driver’s license is required.
• Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience.
• RF scanning experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or willingness to be certified.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders using an RF scanning gun.
• Move product and material using a forklift or pallet jack.
• Open containers using basic hand tools.
• Manually load/unload materials onto pallets and secure with strapping or padding.
• Convey materials to/from storage or work sites using hand truck or dolly.
• Maintain a clean work area and inspect equipment.
• Participate in periodic safety training sessions.
• Other duties as assigned.
