Job summary

QXO in California is seeking a warehouse associate to accurately fill orders, inspect and store materials, and support comprehensive inventory control. You will operate forklifts, verify product descriptions, and uphold safety protocols in a fast-paced yard and warehouse environment.

This role requires 2–3 years of warehouse and inventory experience, ability to lift 75+ lbs, and strong verbal and written communication with coworkers, vendors, and customers.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of warehouse and inventory control experience.
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work indoors or outdoors in varying weather.
• Experience operating forklifts.
• Strong verbal and written communication, with customer interaction.
• Leadership or supervisory experience with direct customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Accurately fill orders, initiate and verify pick tickets, and complete paperwork.
• Notify Purchasing and Sales of unfillable orders or low inventory.
• Communicate professionally with customers in a timely manner.
• Receive, inspect, label, and store materials, including non-stock items.
• Report inventory discrepancies to ensure accurate records.
• Conduct cycle counts and inventory checks; match stock to tickets.
• Safely load and unload vehicles; verify product descriptions, quantities, condition.
• Move materials within the yard and warehouse; maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere to all protocols, always wearing PPE.
