Job summary

QXO is seeking a Warehouse Receiving Associate to handle inbound freight, inspections, and put-away in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will verify counts, manage documentation, and ensure accurate inventory in ERP/WMS systems.

This role emphasizes meticulous attention to detail and coordination with Purchasing and Operations. Ideal candidates will have warehouse experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to operate material-handling equipment safely.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous receiving, warehouse, inventory, logistics, or related operational experience.
• Ability to read and interpret purchase orders, bills of lading, packing slips, labels, and receiving documentation.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn company inventory and receiving systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process inbound shipments, verify counts and documentation, and ensure accurate inventory visibility.
• Visually inspect materials for damage and conformance, document discrepancies, and coordinate with vendors for returns.
• Process receiving transactions in ERP/WMS and support cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Prepare materials for put-away, coordinate with Warehouse to maintain smooth material flow from receiving to stock.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Operations to resolve shortages, damages, or documentation issues.
• Support warehouse operations and maintain safety and housekeeping standards.
