Job summary

Envent's Purchasing and Inventory Administrator in the US office supports purchasing activities and maintains accurate inventory records. The role issues purchase orders, coordinates with logistics, and ensures ERP data integrity in Acumatica.

Reporting to operations, you will conduct cycle counts, monitor stock levels, and resolve discrepancies to keep material availability on track and support timely production.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience with purchase orders, receiving, inventory transactions, and cycle counts.
• 2–4 years in supply chain, logistics, or inventory control.
• Proficient in ERP systems, preferably Acumatica.

Responsibilities

• Issue purchase orders for approved vendors, materials, parts, and services.
• Confirm purchase order details, including part number, quantity, price, vendor, delivery date, project reference, and approval requirements.
• Coordinate with finance to resolve invoice, purchase order, or receiving discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate purchasing files and supporting documentation for audit readiness.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within ERP systems, including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory audits, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Monitor stock levels and trigger replenishment requests based on min/max thresholds.
• Track inventory movement across locations and ensure proper documentation of transfers.
• Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and support disposition strategies.
• Support procurement by issuing purchase orders and tracking order status.
• Liaise with vendors to confirm lead times, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor supplier performance and raise issues related to delays or quality concerns.
• Maintain documentation for audit readiness and traceability.
