Communications Engineering Company is seeking a procurement and inventory specialist to support compliance and efficiency across the ERP-driven supply chain. You will manage inventory, process orders, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Experience with purchasing and inventory processes is preferred.
• Strong problem solving and analytic abilities are essential.
• Ability to communicate and lead across levels and with suppliers.
• Must have PC proficiency and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Administers control over inventory quantities stored, received, and shipped.
• Performs periodic inventory counts and reconciles records.
• Receives inventory, verifies against purchase orders and documentation.
• Expedites deliveries and resolves overdue orders with suppliers.
• Places and tracks purchase orders in the ERP system.
• Manages inventories in multiple bins and special projects.
• Supports standard policies and procedures for daily operations and training.
• May provide on-site training to staff.
• Assists in building maintenance and site-related activities.
• Executes orders for indirect spend (office supplies, furniture, services).
• Oversees external contractors on a case-by-case basis.
