Job summary

Parker Hannifin in Ohio seeks a seasoned inventory and production control leader to guide the division's materials and manufacturing activities. Qualifications

• 5-7 years experience in inventory and production control.
• Analytical and technical skills to understand business practices and automation opportunities.
• Advanced computer skills and understanding of electronic processing.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
• Lean enterprise principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Manages all division inventory relating to records, tracking of materials, changing business activity, quality of materials and stocking levels.
• Works closely with procurement to ensure reorder processes and timely delivery of materials.
• Develops and implements aggressive inventory reduction programs to limit exposure to excess costs; adjusts inventory levels for backlog production.
• Analyzes production requirements based on sales orders and short/medium term forecast; determines cost-efficient production resource utilization.
• Prepares master schedule to establish sequence and lead times of manufacturing operations; schedules weekly/monthly/longer cycles.
• Resolves conflicts from variances affecting the master schedule (priorities, engineering changes, material shortages, scrap/repair, labor shortages, machine availability).
• Prepares detailed reports on current activity and suggested process improvements.
