Qualifications

• 5–7 years experience in inventory and production control.
• Bachelors degree in business, engineering, or materials management; SCM certification preferred.
• Analytical and technical skills to understand business practices and automate where appropriate.
• Advanced computer skills and familiarity with electronic processing.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication; lean Enterprise mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manages division inventory records, tracking, and stocking levels; coordinates with procurement for reorder processes.
• Leads development and execution of aggressive inventory reduction to reduce excess costs.
• Analyzes production requirements based on sales orders and forecasts; optimizes multi-plant resource utilization.
• Prepares master schedule with weekly/monthly/longer production cycles and lead times.
• Resolves conflicts affecting the master schedule (priorities, changes, shortages, downtime).
• Oversees monthly sales and operations planning for the division.
• Produces detailed reports on current activity and process improvements.
