Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC, the nation's leading distributed retail mortgage lender, seeks a Communications Manager to develop and execute internal and external communications that inform, engage and strengthen CCM’s relationships with employees, media, customers and partners.

You will provide strategic counsel on messaging, audiences, channels and timing, manage projects from development through execution, and collaborate with Corporate Communications leadership and cross‑functional partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field.
• 5+ years of communications experience, including internal/employee communications.
• Excellent writing and editing with AP style.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and consultancy skills with leaders and teams.
• Experience with internal platforms, email tools, and intranet systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute internal and external communications plans.
• Advise business leaders on messaging, audiences, and channels.
• Lead communications projects from strategy to distribution and measurement.
• Create clear communications across press, executive, employee content, and digital media.
• Support media relations and build reporter relationships.
• Support executive visibility and reputation-building initiatives.
• Handle issues and crisis communications with timely messaging.
• Support internal channels and town hall events.
• Monitor media coverage and analyze performance trends.
