Job summary

Cardinal Health’s Communications & Enterprise Marketing team seeks an experienced Communications Business Partner to develop and execute internal and executive communications strategies across Global Technology and Business Services (GTBS), emphasizing AI initiatives and cybersecurity topics.

In this role you will partner with Digital and Technology Services and Information Security leaders, manage events and change communications, and craft content for intranet, newsletters, and town halls

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred
• 6+ years of experience in communications, public relations or related field preferred
• Experience in global communications a plus, with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across regions
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Strong curiosity, strategy skills and ability to persuade
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Self-directed, action-oriented, forward-thinking and innovative with high ethical standards
• Strong analytical skills, good judgment and strong operational focus
• Team player with the ability to work cross functionally with peers and other business leaders

Responsibilities

• Manages a Consultant, Communications Business Partner, who also supports Digital and Technology Services team and the Information Security team within the GTBS organization
• Collaborates with executive leaders and other business partners to develop and implement strategic communication plans reflecting the company's mission, values, brand and priorities while mitigating risk
• Develops processes and protocols for existing and new initiatives and programs, primarily the promotion of events and other engagement activities
• Develops and maintains effective working relationships with outside agencies and consultants as needed
• Creates and coordinates internal announcements and change management communications
• Supports communication of technology issues and outages (TechAlerts)
• Content development for internal channels (intranet, Viva Engage, digital signage, etc.)
• Coordinates, creates and publishes content for weekly newsletters across the business
• Counsels and supports leaders with external speaking opportunities, media requests as needed
• Ideates social content and coordinates social initiatives with Enterprise social media team
• Participates in development of policies and procedures to achieve goals
