Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; writing expertise is a must.
• 10+ years of leadership experience in in-house or agency settings.
• Ability to lead a team and delegate effectively.
• Strong financial and business acumen.
• Experience developing and executing internal and external communications plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic internal and external communication plans reflecting the company's brand and voice.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of communicators.
• Produce executive communications, press releases, and social/content for the Newsroom.
• Plan communications for National Sales Meetings and Retail Business Conference, and oversee run-of-show deliverables.
• Plan and execute town halls with the live events team, including run of show and speaker materials.
• Draft and review leader announcements, press releases, Newsroom stories, scripts, and presentations.
• Develop employee messaging aligned with segment and business unit goals.
• Maintain updates of proactive communication strategies, playbooks and SOPs for issue response.
