Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Communications Business Partner focused on internal communications within the GTBS organization. You will develop and execute comprehensive strategies to engage employees and stakeholders around business initiatives, AI and cybersecurity topics, and enterprise priorities.

You will partner with Digital and Technology Services and Information Security teams to align messaging, content, and events with Cardinal Health’s values and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in communications, public relations or related field preferred.
• Experience in global communications a plus, with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across regions.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Strong curiosity, strategy skills and ability to persuade
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Self-directed, action-oriented, forward-thinking and innovative with high ethical standards
• Strong analytical skills, good judgment and strong operational focus
• Team player with the ability to work cross functionally with peers and other business leaders

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with executive leaders to develop and implement strategic communication plans reflecting the company’s mission, values, brand and priorities.
• Creates internal announcements and change management communications.
• Develops and maintains relationships with outside agencies and consultants as needed.
• Develops content for internal channels and weekly newsletters.
• Supports TechAlerts communication of technology issues and outages.
• Coordinates events and AV logistics for executive gatherings.
• Ideates social content with internal and external sources with corporate partners.
• Mentors less experienced colleagues.
