Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a senior Internal Communications professional to drive strategic alignment across the General Bank and Enterprise Technology & Operations. You will translate complex priorities into clear messages for associates and leaders, shaping content that informs, inspires, and activates across intranet, email, signage, and events.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or related field OR 8 years of related experience with a high school diploma.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience working with internal communications platforms (e.g. enterprise email tools, digital signage systems, and/or virtual event platforms)

Responsibilities

• Build trusted, consultative relationships with internal clients including senior leaders to align communications with business objectives.
• Lead end-to-end development of internal communications aligned to strategic priorities.
• Translate complex topics into clear, concise content for diverse internal audiences.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver multi-channel communications (intranet, email, signage, events).
