Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking a Senior Internal Communications partner to shape and execute enterprise communication strategies. You will lead internal campaigns, support employee engagement initiatives, and ensure consistent, high-quality messaging for leaders and teams.

You will collaborate with HR, Operations, IT, and regional teams to translate complex information into clear communications, maintain assets, templates, and libraries, and oversee content reviews and approvals across channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in corporate/internal communications or employee engagement.
• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise communication and change campaigns.
• Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops communication plans for initiatives, changes, and employee programs.
• Adapts messaging to personas and leadership styles.
• Advises cross-functional stakeholders on messaging, channels, and engagement.
• Identifies opportunities to improve communication effectiveness and employee experience.
• Establishes governance, editorial standards, and guidelines across internal channels.
• Translates complex information into clear, engaging communications across departments.
• Leads campaigns supporting culture, safety, and organizational initiatives.
