Job summary

Extreme Networks, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of Internal Communications to translate business priorities into strategic communications, programs, and employee experiences that inform and engage across the company.

The role balances long-term planning with hands-on execution across content, governance, events, and digital touchpoints. You will lead strategy, stakeholder engagement, and team development while driving alignment with executives and global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, employee engagement, or related disciplines.
• Proven ability to develop communication strategies and lead complex initiatives in a global organization.
• Experience partnering with executive and senior leaders on business-critical communications.
• Experience managing employee engagement programs, internal events, digital platforms, and external vendors.
• Independent in fast-paced environments with multiple priorities and strong judgment.

Responsibilities

• Own internal communications strategy, planning, platforms, and governance to deliver effective, employee-focused communications that support business objectives.
• Create content and messaging that drive awareness, understanding, and engagement around priorities and initiatives.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across the organization, including executive leadership, to understand priorities and act as strategic advisor.
• Oversee employee engagement and recognition programs, internal events, digital touchpoints, and vendor relationships that support the employee experience.
• Foster accountability, collaboration, and professional growth while ensuring effective execution of team priorities.
