Job summary

Coinbase is seeking an experienced Internal Communications professional to partner with executive leaders and shape our employee experience in an AI-native environment. This role reports to the Director of Internal Communications and focuses on strategic planning, event support, and scalable communications across a remote-first organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in internal, external, or corporate communications, media/journalism, product marketing, or another writing-intensive role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clarity and brevity.
• Experience partnering with leaders and cross-functional stakeholders on communications initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to responsibly use generative AI tools and copilots in daily workflows with human oversight.
• Resilience and composure in face of organizational change and distributed teams.
• Strong organizational skills to plan and prioritize multiple workstreams while balancing speed and quality.
• Ability to think strategically and execute tactically while building crypto fluency.

Responsibilities

• Own complex communications plans from strategy through execution and analysis.
• Advise leaders and partners with understanding of mission, strategy and culture.
• Support team-wide and company-wide events with materials and speaker prep.
• Identify opportunities and build AI-enabled tools and workflows to scale internal comms.
• Measure effectiveness using data, feedback, and experiments to drive improvements.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams to manage communications and change.
