Job summary

Boston Children's Hospital seeks a Senior Internal Communications Specialist to support Franciscan Children's Hospital work in Brighton, MA. Hybrid role with strategic communications, content development, and enterprise-wide internal programs.

The ideal candidate brings 5–6 years of internal communications experience, strong writing and storytelling, and proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools such as Teams and SharePoint. Preference for HIPAA-aware communications and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5–6 years of progressive internal/corporate communications experience.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint).
• Familiarity with ADA and HIPAA considerations in communications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated communications programs that support organizational priorities.
• Translate complex clinical, operational, and cultural initiatives into clear messaging for diverse audiences.
• Create content across articles, executive messages, talking points, scripts, and social media.
• Manage internal communications channels, ensuring on-brand and accessible communications.
