Job summary

Boston Children’s Hospital Trust is seeking a Development Communications Officer to craft and oversee communications for annual projects, manage branding and messaging, and coordinate materials for events and campaigns.

This role works closely with the Associate Director of Development Communications, interacts with patient families during shoots, and guides in-house and freelance photographers and designers to deliver on-brand outputs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years nonprofit communications experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience coordinating photo and video shoots with staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Advise fundraisers on branding, messaging and creative strategy.
• Provide communications support for Trust events, sponsorships and campaigns.
• Coordinate photo shoots and manage consent with patient families.
• Collaborate with photographers and designers, both in-house and freelance.
• Execute special projects as directed by the Associate Director.
