Job summary

Cushing Terrell is seeking a Senior Internal Communications Manager to lead firm-wide employee communications across 17 offices. You will partner with leaders to craft executive messages, plan town halls, and maintain the internal calendar and voice.

Day-to-day work blends writing, editing, and advisory duties, focusing on culture, change communications, and growth integration. You’ll measure reach, engagement, and outcomes while protecting confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a communications-related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in internal, corporate, or employee communications.
• Experience advising senior leaders and developing executive communications.
• Leadership through significant organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Lead firm-wide internal communications strategy and calendar across offices.
• Draft and distribute announcements, campaigns, and employee stories.
• Develop executive messages, talking points, and town halls.
• Create playbooks for growth and integration while protecting confidential info.
• Advise People leaders on communications and coordinate during emergencies.
• Manage content standards and governance across channels (Intranet, email, Teams, video).
• Produce recruitment marketing content and maintain a consistent brand voice.
• Measure reach and engagement; manage the internal communications budget and toolset.
