Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
• 12+ years of external communications experience, including team leadership.
• Proven ability to develop and lead firm-wide external communications strategy.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for media and stakeholders.
• Experience providing media training and coaching to executives.
• Experience with crisis, reputation, and issues management; brand decisions.
• Budget planning, forecasting, and vendor/agency management.

• Lead, hire, and develop the external communications team, setting staffing structure and high-visibility deliverables.
• Develop and own the firm's external communications strategy with leadership alignment.
• Direct public relations and media relations, overseeing vendors and agencies.
