Job summary

Serco is seeking a full-time Interagency Exercise Planner / SME to support the Joint Staff J-7 in Suffolk, Virginia. You will help integrate interagency partners, coalition capabilities, and national policy into Joint training events, exercises, and assessments.

Working with senior leaders, you will design realistic environments using DIME considerations and AI tools to enhance planning, knowledge management, and joint readiness.

Qualifications

• Active DoD TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, Military Services, Interagency organizations, or equivalent DoD.
• Strong knowledge of Joint Planning Processes and Multi-Domain Operations.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Excellent analytical, writing, briefing and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Integrate Interagency organizations and national policy into Joint training events, exercises, and assessments.
• Serve as content editor for Interagency Cell products with proper security markings.
• Act as Interagency Cell duty watch stander during exercise execution and manage MSEL injects and RFIs.
• Perform IM/KM functions and knowledge management.
• Lead battle rhythm meetings and executive meeting minutes.
• Develop AARs, observations, and lessons learned using AI tools where authorized.
• Support JECG operations and senior leader engagements.
• Participate in IPC, MPC, FPC, IPRs, and planning conferences.
• Coordinate administrative tasks including security access, badges, and account coordination.
• Safeguard classified information per security procedures.
• Develop operational assessments and recommendations to improve interagency integration.
• Use Government AI and MS 365 tools to enhance information sharing and automation.
