Job summary

Serco is seeking a full-time Interagency Exercise Planner / Interagency Operations SME to support the Joint Staff J-7 in Suffolk, Virginia. You will design realistic joint training events and operational assessments that incorporate DIME considerations and leverage AI tools to enhance planning and readiness.

The role requires TS clearance, U.S. citizenship, a bachelor’s degree, and 8 years of experience, plus the ability to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

Active DoD TS clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
U.S. citizenship is required.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
8 years of relevant experience.
Experience with Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, or DoD organizations.
Strong written and oral communication and briefing skills.
Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

Integrate interagency and partner capabilities into Joint training events and assessments.
Serve as content editor for interagency products with proper security markings.
Lead duty watch during exercise execution and manage MSEL injects and RFIs.
Support IM/KM functions, knowledge management, and information sharing.
Develop AARs, observations, and lessons learned using AI tools where authorized.
Coordinate planning conferences and JECG operations with stakeholders.
