Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a full-time Interagency Exercise Planner / Interagency Operations SME to support Joint Staff J-7 in Suffolk, VA. You will design joint training events, integrate interagency partners, and support decision-making with government AI tools.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, U.S. citizenship, a 8‑year track record in DoD/joint operations, and willingness to travel up to 25% to support planning conferences and exercises.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with SCI access eligibility.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Current or be able to obtain a valid U.S. Passport.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in military, government, or defense contracting.
• 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, Military Services, or DoD organizations.
• Knowledge of interagency coordination in crises, disasters, and military operations.
• Strong understanding of Joint Planning Processes, Joint doctrine, and Multi-Domain Operations.
• Experience supporting senior General Officer, Flag Officer, SES, or equivalent civilian leadership.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Integrate interagency and partner capabilities into Joint training events and assessments.
• Serve as content editor for Interagency Cell products with proper security markings.
• Act as Interagency Cell duty watch stander during exercise execution.
• Manage MSEL injects, RFIs, and information/knowledge management.
• Support JECG operations and senior leader engagements.
• Participate in IPC, MPC, FPC, IPRs and planning meetings.
• Assist with exercise planning, execution, assessment, and analysis.
• Coordinate admin and security procedures for classified access and facilities.
• Develop AARs, observations, and lessons learned using AI tools when authorized.
• Utilize AI capabilities and Microsoft 365 to improve information sharing.
