Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent demonstrated experience as an Intelligence Analyst in the law enforcement, military, or intelligence communities.
  • Demonstrated interest and understanding of Gaming enforcement.
  • Experience with review and analysis of raw data and digital forensic software reports, CSLI/ping information, and/or video and audio recording content and metadata.
  • Experience in synthesizing and interpreting data, preparing and presenting reports, developing pattern analysis, and conducting multi-target analysis utilizing multiple data sets simultaneously.
  • Solid command of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, and Google Earth.
  • Advanced Excel skills and prior experience with statistical software, geolocation/mapping tools, and law enforcement case management platforms.
  • Expertise in formatting and design of reports, link charts, graphs, and tables.
  • Familiarity with social media data exploitation and open-source research.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direct oversight with attention to detail.
  • Ability to interact with staff at all levels while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work effectively in an interagency environment with federal, state, and local law enforcement and intelligence professionals.
  • Effective organizational, problem-solving, writing, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to attend trainings as deemed necessary by Division leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and analyze tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence to support investigations and prosecutions related to expanded gaming.
  • Conduct research into illegal gambling organizations and evaluate phone, email, text, and metadata.
  • Coordinate multi-agency collaboration and present data patterns to investigators.
  • Provide project management and intelligence analysis for partners, including meeting logistics and data presentations.
  • Travel within Massachusetts as needed for investigations and trainings.
