Job summary

Massachusetts AGO seeking an Assistant Attorney General for the Gaming Enforcement Division (Boston). The role requires leading investigations and prosecutions related to expanded gaming, coordinating with State Police and other partners. Qualifications

Member of the Massachusetts bar and practicing attorney.
At least five years as an attorney, preferably in state criminal practice.
Knowledge of money laundering, illegal gaming, larceny, domestic violence, and sexual assault.
Trial experience in Superior Court or U.S. District Court.
Ability to handle a large caseload and appear in court.
Ability to conduct long- and short-term investigations.
Excellent legal writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Investigate and prosecute criminal conduct related to expanded gaming.
Lead and coordinate investigations and prosecutions with Massachusetts State Police.
Screen potential cases and foster relationships with industry stakeholders.
Participate in training and occasionally cover district court, working with prosecutors and staff.
