Job summary

Clínica Romero is seeking a Substance Use Disorder Intake Specialist responsible for managing client entry into outpatient services. The role involves assessing and referring participants to appropriate care levels and maintaining client scheduling.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be highly motivated, and possess knowledge of compliance with state and county intake requirements. A registered or certified substance abuse counselor is preferred, and Spanish bilingualism is a plus.

Qualifications

• Registered counselor; certification a plus but not required.
• Ability to write progress notes and treatment plans.
• Experience in group facilitation and case management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire intake process for all programs.
• Screen calls for and schedule intake appointments.
• Develop and write comprehensive initial treatment plans.
