Job summary

Community and Family Resources is seeking a Counselor to provide substance use services at the Intensive Outpatient level. Responsibilities include intake assessments, developing treatment plans, and conducting individual and group sessions to support clients in the program.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree with preference for social/behavioral sciences backgrounds. Knowledge of 42 CFR/HIPAA, CARF, and IDPH standards is important; English communication is essential, with Spanish

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree required; Associates degree with 3+ years of experience considered.
• Knowledge of 42 CFR and HIPAA regulations.
• Knowledge of CARF and IDPH licensure standards.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform intake/assessments and complete assessment histories.
• Develop and coordinate individual treatment plans with client and supervisor.
• Conduct individual, family, and group counseling sessions.
• Provide follow-up services and maintain client records.
