CRI-Help, Inc in Los Angeles County is hiring an Intake Specialist for our substance use disorder treatment programs. You will conduct screenings, determine eligibility, and admit clients to residential services, ensuring documentation accuracy and timely processing.

Responsibilities

• Handle inquiries from individuals seeking treatment and treatment information.
• Schedule and conduct screenings to determine eligibility for the program.
• Assess applicants for level of care suitability and admission.
• Admit clients and complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Utilize assessment tools during intake (e.g., ASAM, CalOMS, MSE, etc.).
• Provide crisis intervention when red flags are identified and coordinate referrals.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure high-quality client care and coordination of benefits (Medi-Cal).
• Verify insurance benefits and assist clients applying for coverage.
