Job summary

Voyage Advisory LLC is seeking a Senior Advisor – Insurance Business Development to leverage an established insurance network, identify opportunities, and connect Voyage with decision-makers. The role focuses on strategic introductions, not end-to-end sales, with support from internal teams on proposals, SOWs, and contracting.

This flexible, part-time position (~10–30 hours per month) is remote, with potential involvement in consulting engagements.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of leadership experience within the insurance industry.
• Prior management consulting experience or substantial consulting leadership experience.
• Extensive network of executive-level relationships across insurance carriers, brokers, MGA organizations, or related segments.
• Strong understanding of operational, customer experience, technology, and transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders.
• Excellent communication and executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Leverage existing relationships within the insurance industry to identify opportunities for Voyage Advisory.
• Introduce Voyage leadership to executive decision-makers and key stakeholders.
• Advise on industry trends, challenges, and market opportunities.
