Job summary

Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions is seeking a Business Development Specialist to join our Striior team remotely in the United States. The role focuses on expanding broker relationships, identifying opportunities, and driving profitable growth through collaboration with underwriters and marketing teams.

You will travel up to 75% of the year, build long‑term partnerships with regional wholesale brokers, and support marketing initiatives while staying current on market trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Strong relationships with regional wholesale brokers.
• Ability to travel 75% of the year.
• 5-7 years of progressively complex, specialty lines insurance and marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Maximizes opportunities for profitable new business growth by forming relationships, product knowledge and developing underwriting acumen.
• Be the primary contact at Striior for Intact's BDM team members.
• Travels to key producers/accounts and is visible in the marketplace.
• Analyzes trends and recommends strategies that best position the business.
• Develops working relationships with producers to promote mutual growth and profitability goals.
