Job summary

Builders FirstSource, Inc. is seeking a dedicated professional to manage the Installed Insulation product line, oversee installers, and coordinate installs, supply chain, and sales support to maximize revenues.

The role requires strategic planning and collaboration with vendors and BFS business units. The ideal candidate will have a marketing/business degree and at least five years of product sales experience, with strong analytical and presentation skills, and the ability to travel to customer

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Management or related field.
Five years product sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Manages assigned product line to maximize financial goals and tracks performance against competitors.
Plans and manages sales efforts; oversees or initiates optimum purchasing schedule.
Visits customers on job sites to initiate sales and provide technical and customer support.
Develops short- and long-range product line strategy plans including sales and profitability objectives.
Monitors inventory and coordinates purchase and receipt; arranges service, warranty activity and delivery.
Develops and delivers product presentations and training to sales force and customers.
Works with Logistics, Marketing, Purchasing and other groups to optimize sales initiatives.
Analyzes consumer trends, channel dynamics and strategies to maximize competitive edge.
Drives value-added sales process and manages complex proposals with vendors.
