Job summary

Neon One, a leader in nonprofit software, seeks a Lead Instructional Designer to own instructional strategy and migration to a custom LMS. You will partner with product, engineering, and subject matter experts to deliver superior customer education and scalable content ecosystems.

As a fully remote, national role, you will craft UX for instruction, authoring requirements, and system capabilities, while driving data-driven improvements and ROI across programs.

Qualifications

• 5 years in instructional design in B2B SaaS or tech sectors.
• Experience defining LMS requirements for migrations or custom builds.
• Ability to navigate API docs, cloud architectures, and SaaS configurations.
• Proficiency with modern authoring and media tools listed.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional learning initiatives and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Own LMS migration from current academy to a custom platform; define requirements.
• Collaborate with Technical Writer, Enablement Manager, and Ops to design scalable systems.
• Architect end-to-end learning pathways and role-based certifications.
• Design interactive, scenario-based training including labs and tutorials.
• Align product updates with learning content and release cycles.
• Track telemetry to prove ROI on enablement programs.
