Job summary

CDW seeks a Lead Instructional Designer in Tempe, AZ to lead complex learning and enablement initiatives. You will partner with senior leadership to design, develop, implement, and measure training solutions that drive leadership, selling, and technical skills.

You will mentor peers, apply AI-enabled workflows, and manage multiple concurrent programs with governance, risk, and stakeholder alignment to deliver business impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 7 years' instructional design or related field experience.
• Deep knowledge of learning technologies and AI-enabled tools.
• Proven instructional design and project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex learning and enablement initiatives from needs assessment to evaluation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements.
• Research and apply best practices in instructional design and AI-enabled learning.
• Manage multiple initiatives with governance, resources, and risks.
• Measure learner outcomes and business impact; propose improvements.
• Develop proposals and reviews for executive audiences.
• Mentor peers on instructional design and emerging tools.
• Evaluate external vendors to tailor materials to CDW needs.
• Continuously develop skills in design and project management.
• Design innovative learning experiences using modern tech and AI.
• Maintain curriculum governance and lifecycle processes.
