Job summary

Guidehouse seeks an Instructional Design Lead – Associate Director to head a three-person team, delivering end-to-end learning programs from compliance to leadership training. You will oversee elearning, instructor-led sessions, job aids, and knowledge management, while contributing hands-on to development.

With ADDIE expertise and AI-driven approaches, you will guide client needs, manage timelines, and ensure high-quality outputs. Up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree; Four (4) years additional professional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• 10+ years of professional experience in related areas.
• Expert development skills in Articulate Rise 360 with AI, Synthesia, and Camtasia.
• Deep expertise in ADDIE instructional design methodology.
• Ability to translate expertise into actionable feedback to grow team skill.
• Experience with instructional design and Copilot AI tools to speed admin tasks and produce engaging work products.
• Executive presence to understand client needs, translate into training design, and manage SME feedback.
• Strong project management to create timelines, communicate risks, and adapt to urgent priorities.
• Excellent organizational skills for project file management and data audits.
• Be ready to show work samples.

Responsibilities

• Lead three team members in end-to-end creation of engaging learning solutions (compliance, leadership, ways of working).
• Manage time to support team success and contribute personally to development work.
• Deliver solutions including elearning, ILT, live/virtual instructor-led training, job aids, knowledge management, and AI agents.
