Job summary

KLA is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to develop scalable training for semiconductor service teams in Phoenix, AZ, aligning with SEMATECH standards and leveraging AI for personalized learning.

You will collaborate with R&D, support, and manufacturing to create eLearning modules, manage cross-functional projects, and deliver effective training in a matrix environment with global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Instructional Design.
• 7+ years in technical engineering fields (semiconductor industry preferred).
• High-level English proficiency with strong written and verbal communication.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and collaborate across global teams.
• Experience applying ADDIE, SAM, and LxD instructional design methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop structured, high-impact training using ADDIE, SAM, and LxD.
• Create SEMATECH-aligned certification frameworks and leverage AI for personalization.
• Design training for hardware service, maintenance, installation, repair, troubleshooting, part replacement, and upgrades.
• Collaborate with R&D, support, and manufacturing to develop training content.
• Manage end-to-end projects, including planning, monitoring, and change management.
