Job summary

North Bay Children is seeking an Institutional Giving Manager to secure and steward foundation and public grant funding. The role focuses on building a renewable institutional revenue pipeline, with a $700K–$1M annual target and cross-functional collaboration across program, finance, and communications.

The incumbent will lead strategy, proposal development, and steward multi-year funding while ensuring compliance and timely reporting. AAA degree+ and 3+ years in grant fundraising are required.

Qualifications

  • AA Degree or Higher Required.
  • 3+ years of experience in foundation and/or public grant fundraising.
  • Demonstrated track record securing $500K+ annually in institutional funding.
  • Strong grant writing, budgeting, and editing skills.
  • Experience managing multiple deadlines and compliance-heavy environments.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and grant tracking tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an annual institutional giving strategy aligned with organizational priorities and revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for multi-year commitments and general operating support.
  • Lead preparation of LOIs, full grant proposals, renewals, and budgets; ensure timeliness and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Program and Finance to develop narratives and measurable outcomes.
  • Maintain a forward-looking 12–24 month institutional pipeline and grant calendar.
  • Coordinate stewardship communications and reporting to funders.
