MCE - Motion & Control Enterprises, LLC is seeking an Inside Sales Representative in Rocky Mount, NC. This full-time role focuses on owning accounts, quoting, processing orders, and coordinating with outside sales to drive growth.

You will maintain CRM data, manage communications, and ensure on-time delivery for a dedicated set of accounts. The successful candidate will have 3+ years in inside sales or related roles, strong organization, and proficiency with MS Office and ERP/CRM platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of inside sales, account management, or customer service experience in a technical or industrial environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously without losing accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and experience with ERP and/or CRM platforms.
• Clear, professional communicator — written and verbal — who can build rapport quickly and handle customer issues calmly.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary inside point of contact for a dedicated set of accounts, building strong relationships and becoming the person customers trust to handle their needs.
• Manage inbound and outbound customer communication promptly and professionally, addressing questions, concerns, and escalations with urgency.
• Partner closely with outside sales representatives to support long-term account planning and growth strategies.
• Prepare accurate quotes and process orders efficiently, ensuring all customer-specific requirements are met.
• Monitor open orders for on-time delivery based on agreed customer expectations, proactively flagging issues before they become problems.
• Assist with submittal packages and supporting documentation for customer projects.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales data in the CRM system, keeping account activity, order status, and communications current and accessible.
• Ensure all documentation, quotations, and purchase orders are processed accurately and on schedule.
• Communicate proactively with customers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and issue resolution.
• Prioritize customer requests and coordinate internal resources to meet delivery timelines.
• Generate sales pipeline and workflow reports for management on a regular cadence.
• Support continuous improvement of sales processes to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate across internal teams to coordinate order fulfillment and post-sale support for your accounts.
