Job summary

ZEISS is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist in Dublin, CA, to generate incremental revenue through inbound and outbound calls for service agreements and product add-ons. The role collaborates with field sales and service to drive new business, renewals, and warranty extensions while maintaining CRM records and forecasting sales in the assigned territory.

The ideal candidate has 6–8 years of sales experience, strong communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency with Salesforce and MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
• 6–8 years of demonstrated inside or outside sales experience, preferably in the medical capital equipment marketplace.
• Ability to effectively initiate and manage outbound/inbound sales calls.
• Ability to engage in consultative selling dialogue with emphasis on business impact (ROI, etc)
• Excellent communication skills and professional telephone skills.
• Strong negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Contact purchasing points-of-contact, present cost benefits and ROI, and drive close to meet targets.
• Negotiate final pricing and terms with buyers.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations; assess customer needs to close sales.
• Forecast business in a defined territory and maintain CRM records.
• Provide updates to field service and sales teams on opportunities and concerns.
• Promote add-ons, renewals, and service extensions; participate in trade shows.
