Job summary

ZEISS is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist in Dublin, CA to generate incremental revenue through inbound and outbound calls for service agreements and add-ons. The role requires a strong background in consultative selling, ROI-focused discussions, and close collaboration with field sales and service teams.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and 6–8 years of sales experience in medical capital equipment, plus excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 6–8 years of demonstrated inside or outside sales experience, preferably in medical capital equipment.
• Ability to initiate and manage outbound/inbound sales calls.
• Ability to engage in consultative selling dialogue with emphasis on ROI and business impact.
• Excellent communication and professional telephone skills.
• Strong negotiation and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Contact purchasing points, present cost benefits and ROI, and close sales to meet targets.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with customers.
• Demonstrate strong communication through business planning and customer presentations.
• Collaborate with field sales and service to drive new service business and renewals.
• Assess customer needs and propose solutions to close sales.
• Forecast business in the defined territory and maintain CRM records.
