Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to support revenue growth and customer satisfaction by managing inquiries, quotes, and cross-functional coordination across US and Canada. You will serve as a central point of contact between customers and internal teams, ensuring timely responses and accurate information flow.

You will collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Engineering, Regional Managers, Program Managers, and Field Technicians to translate requirements into actionable quotes

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of sales experience in industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple departments and ensure accurate information flow.
• Proficient in CRM systems and sales processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound customer inquiries, qualify requests, and respond within defined service levels.
• Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and pricing packages; validate technical requirements and lead times with internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Engineering, Regional Managers, Program Managers, and Field Technicians to ensure customer requirements are understood and executable.
• Maintain CRM accuracy through disciplined entry of customer interactions, opportunity updates, pipeline status, and follow-up activities.
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities; support internal sales workflows and documentation.
