Job summary

Kloeckner Metals Corporation is seeking an Account Manager to serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts in the United States. You will develop strong relationships with customers, connect with executives, and identify new opportunities within existing accounts to drive revenue growth.

In this role, you will process orders, manage multiple client relationships, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with the sales team to expand opportunities within the territory from Columbus, MS.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor’s degree or degree with equivalent relevant work experience, preferred
• Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Customer service oriented
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple customer accounts
• Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trends
• Results driven individual with high-performance standards of themselves and others

Responsibilities

• Process timely and accurate orders in accordance with customer needs
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
• Develop trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
• Develop new business with existing customers and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
• Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
• Coordinate with management to assure optimum lead-time and inventory levels
• Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
• Advise management of challenging customer requests and elevate issues as needed
• Other related duties as assigned
