Job summary

Highmark Residential, LLC is seeking a Strategic Initiatives Project Manager to lead multifamily property and corporate initiatives from intake through closeout. You will build plans, governance, reporting and accountability to ensure on-time delivery with measurable financial and operational impact.

The role requires guiding cross-functional teams, managing budgets, risks and dependencies, and delivering concise leadership-ready updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
• Five or more years of multifamily property operations or related real estate experience, including leading cross-functional projects.
• Experience managing projects from intake through implementation, adoption, measurement, and closeout.
• Strong working knowledge of multifamily property operations and the impact of corporate projects on onsite teams.
• Experience building project charters, workplans, schedules, status reports, risk and issue logs, implementation plans.

Responsibilities

• Manage intake and prioritization of strategic initiatives; clarify problems, objectives, scope, sponsor, stakeholders, dependencies, and decisions.
• Build and maintain charters, workplans, milestones, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, and success measures.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives involving technology, vendor implementations, and policy changes.
• Set roles, deadlines, and reporting expectations; hold owners accountable for commitments.
• Facilitate project kickoffs, status meetings, and leadership reviews; document actions and owners.
• Maintain a portfolio view of initiatives with status, milestones, ownership, and interdependencies.
• Prepare concise project and portfolio reports for leadership; highlight impact and next steps.
• Coordinate internal teams and vendors to ensure proper sequencing of requirements, testing, training and implementation.
• Manage pilots, readiness reviews, issue tracking, adoption monitoring and scaling decisions.
• Track schedules, scope, costs, resources, and outcomes; propose corrective actions as needed.
• Partner with business owners to prepare onsite and corporate teams for change with clear communications and training.
• Close projects by confirming deliverables, documenting decisions, and transitioning ownership and maintenance.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews to confirm adoption and sustained results.
