Job summary

Manulife is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Real Estate, to lead planning, governance, and delivery of complex corporate real estate initiatives that support workplace strategy, operations, and business transformation.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets and vendors, assess risks, and provide leadership to a Project Coordinator, ensuring on-time, within-scope delivery and executive-ready updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Real Estate, Facilities Management, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive project management experience.
• Experience delivering corporate real estate, workplace, facilities, construction, capital improvement, relocation, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading or mentoring project coordination resources.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, risks, vendors, governance, and executive reporting.
• Strong stakeholder management with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office; PM tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Planview is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of corporate real estate projects.
• Develop project charters, integrated plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, governance routines, and roadmaps.
• Define scope, objectives, milestones, dependencies, and success measures with stakeholders.
• Drive disciplined execution across workstreams within scope and budget.
• Provide leadership, direction, coaching, and support to a Project Coordinator.
• Ensure project artifacts, trackers, decisions, risks, and follow-ups are executive-ready.
• Review outputs to ensure accuracy and timeliness across workstreams.
• Partner with senior leaders from multiple functions to align project outcomes.
