Job summary

Riot Platforms is seeking a People Operations Manager, Strategic Initiatives to keep the People Operations function organized and moving forward. This hands-on role sits at the intersection of People Ops, project coordination, and team operations.

You’ll coordinate work across key initiatives, manage the team’s operating cadence, and build practical processes that create clarity, consistency, and follow-through.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in People Operations, business operations, or related field.
• Experience in program/ project coordination and operational leadership.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
• Ability to create clear, polished materials and agendas.
• Sound judgment, discretion with confidential information.
• Experience budgeting, vendor management, onboarding processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Outlook).
• Collaborative mindset and cross-team relationship building.
• Curiosity, resourcefulness, bias toward action.
• Experience using AI tools to improve work quality and workflow.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate People Operations initiatives: timelines, meetings, deliverables, stakeholder input.
• Maintain project plans and status updates in Asana; track responsibilities and next steps.
• Prepare agendas, capture decisions, follow-up on commitments.
• Coordinate operating rhythm: leadership meetings, quarterly planning, team reviews.
• Support onboarding for new People Operations team members with onboarding plans.
• Manage budgets, vendor records, and recurring activities.
• Support leadership with presentations and materials for meetings and boards.
• Build relationships with Finance, Legal, IT and other teams.
• Provide operational support to SVP and leadership; anticipate deadlines.
