Job summary
AbbVie is seeking a Manager, Strategic Initiatives to translate complex portfolio, workforce, and financial data into clear insights that guide leadership decisions. You will build trusted dashboards and analytics to support prioritization, resource allocation, and execution across multiple functions.
This role collaborates with CDO, R&D, Finance, HR, Talent Acquisition, Procurement, and Business Technology to connect strategy with funding, capacity, and measurable outcomes, while promoting
Qualifications
- Minimum education: Bachelor's degree (or ex-US equivalent) in business, data analytics, information systems, engineering, life sciences, finance, operations, or a related field.
- Typically 3+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical development, business operations, analytics, strategy, project or portfolio management, continuous improvement, consulting, or a related environment.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex data into clear insights to help leaders prioritize work and allocate resources.
- Develop and maintain integrated dashboards, reporting tools, scorecards, and analytical views.
- Strengthen data quality and governance across source systems and support cross-functional initiatives from problem definition through implementation.
