Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Manager, Strategic Initiatives to translate complex portfolio, workforce, and financial data into actionable insights. Qualifications

• Minimum education: Bachelor's degree (or ex-US equivalent) in a related field.
• Minimum Experience: Typically 3+ years in pharmaceutical development, business operations, analytics, strategy, or portfolio management.
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to structure problems and create scalable solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication to explain analytical findings and influence stakeholders.
• Strong project management and continuous improvement skills, managing milestones and risks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, scorecards, and analytics views.
• Provide end-to-end leadership for cross-functional process improvement and strategic initiatives.
• Define scope, integrated plans, resource projections, governance, and risk mitigation.
• Facilitate governance forums, document decisions, and highlight significant issues with options and recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring reporting and improve data accessibility.
