Job summary

FlatironDragados in Northern California is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to harness industry connections, identify project opportunities, and drive growth for the district. You will develop pursuit strategies, manage relationships with owners and agencies, negotiate designer and JV agreements, and guide the pursuit through pre-bid to project hand-off.

Travel up to 50% is required. Strong collaboration with pursuit, preconstruction, marketing and proposal teams is essential to

Qualifications

• 7+ years of business development or similar experience.
• Infrastructure construction industry experience preferred.
• Ability to identify, prioritize, organize and track construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Develops project pursuit strategy with Area Operational leadership for assigned division.
• Attends industry outreach events to gain local contacts and identify possible project work.
• Prepares and negotiates designer agreements, subcontractor agreements, and JV agreements.
• Submits forecast reporting to leadership to align with business strategies.
• Oversees collection and creation of proposal documents during pursuit phases.
• Attends project hand-off calls to ensure accurate transfer of contract specs to project management.
