Job summary

Truist in Raleigh seeks an experienced Information Security leader to manage large, technical security programs aligning with regulatory requirements. You will conduct threat analysis, vulnerability testing, and incident response to protect data assets.

Responsibilities include guiding IAM, data protection, security governance, and cross‑functional collaboration with internal and external teams to strengthen the security posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in information security.
• Advanced knowledge of data security, privacy laws, regulatory compliance, and advanced security technologies.
• Experience in threat analysis, vulnerability testing, incident response, and forensic methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Manages large information security projects and programs aligned with strategy and regulatory requirements.
• Conducts and deploys advanced threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
• Monitors system access and integrates forensic tools for attack detection, investigation, and reconstruction.
• Leads incident response efforts to manage and resolve security incidents.
• Guides identity/access management, data protection, and security best practices enterprise-wide.
• Collaborates with internal teams and external stakeholders to prevent unauthorized access and threats.
• Integrates advanced security tools to strengthen the security posture.
• Reviews and updates security policies, standards, and procedures to address threats and compliance needs.
• Provides technical guidance and direction to information security teams.
