Job summary

Truist in Charlotte, NC seeks a Senior Information Security Manager to lead large, technical information security projects and programs. You will align efforts with regulatory requirements and organizational goals, and guide security architecture across the enterprise.

The role demands expertise in threat analysis, incident response, vulnerability testing, and forensic methodologies, with a track record of managing complex security initiatives in financial services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in information security.
• Advanced knowledge of data security, privacy laws, regulatory compliance, and advanced security technologies.
• Experience in threat analysis, vulnerability testing, incident response, and forensic methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage large information security projects and programs aligned with strategy and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct advanced threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
• Monitor system access and integrate forensic tools for attack detection, investigation, and reconstruction.
• Lead incident response efforts to manage and resolve security incidents.
• Guide identity and access management, data protection, and security best practices enterprise-wide.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to prevent unauthorized access and cyber threats.
• Integrate advanced security technologies to strengthen security posture.
• Review and update security policies, standards, and procedures.
