Job summary

Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP is seeking an Information Governance Analyst to support the firm’s information governance program. You will collaborate with attorneys and business teams to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, manage records lifecycle, and drive improvements in data management across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field; relevant professional certifications are a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in Information Governance, Records Management, or Data Management, preferably in a professional services environment.
• Strong knowledge of information governance, records lifecycle, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Support IG strategy by implementing policies, standards, and best practices.
• Partner with attorneys and business teams to ensure regulatory and operational compliance.
• Manage lifecycle of physical and electronic records including retention, transfers, holds, and disposition.
• Lead cross-functional projects to improve information management and efficiency.
• Analyze data and reporting to identify process improvements and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate across the firm to strengthen IG practices and support strategic initiatives.
• Provide guidance to IG Specialists and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement in compliance and data governance.
